U.S.–Russia Scientific Forum

The U.S.-Russia Scientific Forum (The Forum) is a public-private partnership of the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (www.fnih.org) and was created as a result of the 2009 U.S.-Russia Bi-Lateral Presidential Commission to encourage broader U.S.-Russia research collaboration in biomedical and behavioral research.

The Forum is organized through official agreements between the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Russian Ministry of Health and Social Development (MOHSD), and between the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), Russian Academy of Medical Sciences (RAMS), Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and Ministry of Health and Social Development.

The Forum will host an annual meeting and smaller workshops in selected topics to bring together researchers from both sides and interested partners.
