The Heart Truth® Community Action Grant Program
In its third year, The Heart Truth® Community Action Grant Program aims to equip community organizations to assist women—especially those of color, low income, or in rural areas—in identifying personal risk factors for heart disease and motivating them to take action to lower their risk.
Grants are awarded by the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health as part of a public-private partnership with the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) on behalf of The Heart Truth in support of women's heart health education and research.
Funding is provided by Heart Truth partner Diet Coke and other campaign partners, as well as Pfizer, a sponsor secured by the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health.
®™ The Heart Truth, its logo and The Red Dress® are registered trademarks of HHS.
Participation by Coca-Cola does not imply endorsement by HHS/NIH/NHLBI.
