Sallie Rosen Kaplan Fellowship
This fund was made possible by a bequest from Sallie Rosen Kaplan, who wanted to encourage career development for women in cancer research based on her experience growing up in the early twentieth century when such educational opportunities were not readily available.
The Sallie Rosen Kaplan Fellowship for Women Scientists in Cancer Research at the National Cancer Institute is a competitive program for female postdoctoral fellows applying to train in any of the National Cancer Institute’s intramural research settings. Fellows are supported by a Cancer Research Training Award, with an augmented stipend for women in the first year provided by the Kaplan Fund.
