Workplace Giving

Multiply the impact of your donation in support of the groundbreaking research of the NIH by giving through the Employer Matching Gift Program or, if you’re a federal employee, make us your charity of choice in the Combined Federal campaign.

The Employer Matching Gift Program
Is your company one of the 1,500 that will match an employee's charitable contribution through the Employer Matching Gift Program? If so, this is a great way to make your donation go further. In some cases, an employer will match employee contributions dollar for dollar—and some even two to one—up to a designated maximum amount. Check to see if your company has a matching gift program. If so, please request a matching gift form from your employer and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest!

The Combined Federal Campaign
One of the simplest and most efficient ways to support the Foundation for NIH is by donating at work through payroll deductions. The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the only authorized solicitation of federal employees in their workplaces on behalf of approved charitable organizations. The campaign coordinates the fundraising efforts of various charitable organizations so that federal donors are solicited only once in the workplace and may make charitable contributions through payroll deduction.

  • NIH employees may give to the foundation through the CFC using Control # 29165.
  • In some regions of the country, United Way donors can designate the Foundation for NIH as the recipient of their workplace giving.
