Make a Donation 

You may request that friends and relatives make donations—rather than send flowers—to the foundation in memory of a loved one.  Tribute gifts can also be made in honor of an individual.  We will acknowledge your tribute or memorial gift by sending an appropriate note to the family or individual in whose name the gift was made.

Planned Giving 

Make the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health a beneficiary of your will or revocable trust.  You’ll help guarantee our financial strength tomorrow without affecting your cash flow or your family’s financial stability today.  Leaving restricted gifts is appreciated as well.  If you wish to designate your gift to a specific NIH institute, program, research area, or for another specific purpose, please discuss your plans with us in advance to ensure that your wishes can be carried out.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts

You may request that friends and relatives make donations to the Foundation in memory of or in honor of a loved one.  These gifts will be recognized in the Foundation’s annual report.
