As a member of the Biomarkers Consortium, you can be part of the historic effort to realize the advent of personalized medicine. The consortium is working to develop, validate and qualify biological markers (biomarkers) to speed the development of medicines and therapies for detection, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease and improve patient care. More highly predictive markers could mean preventing or altering the course of illness during a patient’s lifespan.
Organizations from private industry (including the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics and information technology industries) and non-profit organizations (including associations, advocacy groups, trade organizations and philanthropic organizations) that wish to support biomarker development are eligible to become contributing members.
Our goal is to combine the forces of the public and private sectors to accelerate development of biomarker-based technologies, medicines and therapies. Join this exciting effort and become a contributing member.
