Norman P. Salzman Memorial Award and Lecture in Virology
The Norman P. Salzman Award in Virology is given annually each fall to recognize an outstanding research accomplishment by a post-doctoral fellow working in the field of virology. The research must have been done under the mentorship of an NIH, Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), or a Leidos (formerly SAIC) Laboratories scientist.
The winning fellow presents their research at the annual Norman P. Salzman Symposium in Virology and receives a plaque and a cash award; the mentor of the award also receives a plaque.
The 2014 Salzman Symposium will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014.
