FNIH Announces Proposal Submission for November 2011 U.S.-Russia Scientific Forum
On April 25-26, 2011, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Foundation for the NIH (FNIH), the Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and the Russian Ministry of Health and Social Development, with the participation and support from a number of private sector companies, held a U.S.-Russia Scientific Forum planning meeting in preparation for the annual Forum meeting that will be held in November 2011, Moscow, Russia.
The Forum meeting in November 2011 will focus on the following topics: brain sciences, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, clinical and translational research, healthy lifestyles, human development, infectious diseases and epidemiology. Additional topics will be considered by the scientific management committee on a case-by-case basis.
Researchers in the U.S. and in Russia are invited to submit their proposals by July 1, 2011, to be considered for inclusion in the November 2011 Forum. Guidelines for proposal submission, and additional information about the Forum are available here >>
