Over sixty laboratories at the NIH and FDA were involved in glycosciences research. This meeting at NIH's Natcher Conference Center provided a venue for researchers from these laboratories to present their findings, exchange ideas, and build collaborations. The meeting consisted of a morning plenary session, four afternoon mini symposia, two poster sessions and a lunch time opportunity for postdoctoral fellows to speak with outside experts, program directors and scientific review administrators regarding job and grant opportunities.
