National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) 25th Anniversary Scientific Symposium

June 13, 2011
Lipsett Auditorium
NIH Campus

The NIAMS' 25th Anniversary Scientific Symposium presented a unique opportunity to engage a wide range of stakeholders−including the scientific community, voluntary and professional organizations, patients, and congressional staff−in hearing about scientific advances made possible with NIAMS support. Sharing these advances have improved patients lives, and learning about the future directions for NIAMS research.

During a time of historic investment and interest in medical research, the critical role the NIH plays in improving the lives of countless Americans has never been greater. The NIAMS 25th Anniversary Scientific Symposium served as a milestone event in the continuum of collaboration in scientific discovery and information dissemination on the diseases of the bones, joints, muscles, and skin.
