Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel
700 Aliceanna Street
Baltimore, MD 21202
What is AD-MI?
Alzheimer’s Disease Measurement Improvement (AD-MI) is a voluntary, multi-stakeholder mega community around improving measurement to improve outcomes for Alzheimer’s patients.
What was the conference about?
The focus of the 2012 AD-MI Conference was the work of its three primary, active working groups. They presented their findings and general recommendations.
- Draft a conceptual framework for measurement in Alzheimer’s disease: Develop specific definitions for constructs, concepts or domains and define the meaning of “alignment.”
- Conduct an environmental scan to understand the measurement landscape in Alzheimer’s disease: Compile clinical practice guidelines, clinical pathways, measures, groups/researchers conducting work in these areas to help identify measurement gaps and areas should be addressed.
- Develop an overall research agenda for the Alzheimer's community to improve measure development in Alzheimer’s disease: Taking output from groups 1 and 2, draft a general research agenda for the future.
