Alzheimer’s Disease-Related Dementias Workshop 2013: Barriers and Opportunities
This workshop will complete Action Number 1.A.4 of the National Plan to Address Alzheimer’s Disease. The goal of the workshop, as indicated in the National Plan, is to solicit input and develop recommendations on special research priorities and timelines for addressing AD-Related dementias, including FTD, Lewy body, mixed and vascular dementia. NIH is the lead agency, with the NINDS taking the lead, and in collaboration with the NIA, partnering interests named in Action Number 1.A.4 include other federal funders of dementia research, national and international experts, public and private stakeholders, members of the NAPA Advisory Council on Alzheimer’s Research, Care and Services).
