Foundation for NIH Events
Rarely do scientific breakthroughs occur through the sudden insight of a lone researcher. They are typically collaborative achievements, the result of decades of tedious failures and successes, built upon the work of scores of other scientists. Association, literally and figuratively, is how advancements are made.
That is why hosting events—lectures, workshops, symposia, summits and receptions—is a core function of the foundation. By connecting visionaries and leaders, experts from many fields, the foundation creates environments that can incubate new ideas, inquiries, and ultimately, discoveries.
