Making a Contribution

Thank you for your interest in supporting the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health.

Through the Foundation, private partners like you join with NIH to accomplish its goals, concentrating on four areas of focus in line with the priorities of NIH's director:

  • Developing research resources and infrastructure
  • Encouraging biomedical education and training
  • Enhancing the NIH research environment
  • Translating research to medical practice

The Foundation's public-private partnerships are highly synergistic. The energy and ideas of the partners help to augment and complement NIH's efforts toward speedy discovery of new treatments and cures for illnesses of all kinds. In addition, partnerships enhance the patient experience at NIH.

You can become a partner with NIH through a gift to the Foundation. Your gift will have a profound effect on people everywhere who, like your own family and friends, rely on scientific advances to guarantee safe and effective medical treatment.

How to Donate

Please use the Secure Online Donation Form to make your gift. Gifts to the Foundation are tax-deductible. All donors will be gratefully acknowledged in the Foundation's Annual Report.
