Julie Wolf-Rodda, M.A.
Julie Wolf-Rodda brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit management and fundraising to the Foundation for NIH. In her current position, she leads the Foundation’s team responsible for building partnerships between the private sector and the National Institutes of Health to advance the NIH mission: improving health through scientific discovery. Her role includes working with NIH and private partners to establish and structure programs and their governance and infrastructure, including initiatives managed by NIH and those coordinated directly by the Foundation; developing funding strategies and resource plans; cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding funding commitments; and building the Foundation’s overall base of support from corporations, foundations, and individuals through major gift, annual giving, and capital campaign efforts.
Prior to joining the Foundation for NIH in 2004, Ms. Wolf-Rodda served as Vice President for Development with the National Building Museum. Her experience also includes senior development positions with the American Digestive Health Foundation; Communities In Schools; and the National Academy of Engineering. She holds a B.A. from Carleton College and an M.A. from The George Washington University.
