Steven C. Mayer
Prior to founding CoGenesys, Mayer was
executive vice president and chief financial officer of Human Genome Sciences, Inc; vice president and chief financial officer of GenVec, Inc.; and senior vice president and chief financial officer of TheraTech, Inc.
“Steve’s experience as an entrepreneur in the biomedical field will bring a fresh perspective to the FNIH board,” according to Charles A. Sanders, MD, FNIH chairman. “He will be another excellent resource for us to tap into as we enter our 16th year in operation.”
“The FNIH board will benefit from Steve’s expertise in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries,” says Paul M. Montrone, PhD, FNIH board treasurer. “He will especially add depth to the financial aspects of the FNIH mission.”

Mayer has served on the NASDAQ Issuer Affairs Committee, on the FASB Small Business Advisory Committee as a director and treasurer of the Strathmore Hall Foundation, as well as a trustee of The Norwood School.
