Dr. Kathy Bloomgarden is CEO of Ruder Finn Inc., one of the world’s largest independent public relations agencies, with offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Washington, London, Paris, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney, and Jerusalem.

Dr. Bloomgarden has expertise in CEO positioning, healthcare communications, global corporate reputation, brand strategy management, and mergers & acquisitions. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Women's Leadership Board of Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Dr. Bloomgarden is the author of a book about CEO reputation; it is scheduled for release by St. Martins Press in early 2007. She holds a B.A. from Brown University, and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Columbia University in political science.  She is fluent in French, and has basic knowledge of Chinese, Italian, German and Russian.
