INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICANTS


The application process for the first round of GAIN closed on May 9, 2006.  Applications for subsequent rounds of GAIN are contingent upon future funding.     

             

Investigators who did not submit in the first round of GAIN are invited to submit a Statement of Interest indicating their interest in a subsequent round of GAIN when and if additional funding should become available. The Statement of Interest may be submitted through the website at Online Statement of Interest or via e-mail.  We ask that each Statement of Interest submitted through email consist of a summary of one page or less describing:

  • The name of the primary investigator on the proposed project or study;
  • The PI’s institution;
  • The disease area(s) addressed by the study;
  • The project or study name (if applicable);
  • Study design (e.g., case/control, family study), number of subjects (case/controls), ethnicity, gender, age of population;
  • Other relevant study information; and
  • Why appropriate for GAIN.
