Genotyping services for the first round of GAIN have been provided as in-kind donations from current Partner Organizations.   Currently it is planned that 10,000 GAIN samples will be genotyped at Perlegen Sciences under agreement with Pfizer, and 8,000 samples will be genotyped at the Broad Institute using genotyping platforms donated by Affymetrix.
